| PTQG Overnight Vermont Quilt Festival Bus Trip Friday, June 25th Sunday, June 27, 2010 Three Days, Two Nights Pine Tree Quilters Guild is offering a chartered bus trip to the 34th Annual Vermont Quilt Festival. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Vermont Quilt Festival it is the oldest and largest quilt show in New England www.vqf.org. The quilt show takes place in the air-conditioned Champlain Valley Exposition Building. The Festival offers hundreds of quilts for you to view as well as more than 80 vendors. Enjoy exploring the exhibits, demonstrations, retail area and attending lectures galore. This event is the epitome of "eye candy" for experienced and novice quilters alike. A visit to Vermont wouldn't be complete without experiencing The Shelburne Museum. Located in Vermont's scenic Lake Champlain Valley, Shelburne Museum is one of the nation's finest, most diverse and unconventional museums of art and Americana. More than 150,000 works are exhibited in a remarkable setting of 39 exhibition buildings, 25 of which are historic and were relocated to the Museum grounds. To find out more about the Shelburne Museum, please visit their web site, www.shelburnemuseum.org. There is space for 55 individuals. However, a minimum of 30 people are needed for this trip. If less than 30 people sign up, the trip will be canceled and money will be refunded. The fee includes bus fare to and from Bangor, Augusta or Portland, 2 tickets to the Vermont Quilt Festival (Friday and Saturday), 1 ticket to the Shelburne Museum (Sunday), 2 breakfasts, 2 dinners and two nights accommodations. There will be a quick supper stop about half way home unless the group decides otherwise (the cost of the trip does not include this, nor does it include lunches). I would expect everyone will be dropped off no later than 10 p.m. Sunday. In order to reserve your space, a 50% deposit is due by February 15 and the final payment will be due on April 1. PTQG members will be given priority registration through February 15, 2010. On February 16, 2010, we will accept registrations from non-PTQG members. The final payment for the trip will need to be received no than April 1, 2010. Cancellation Policy: Refunds will not be issued unless your space is filled. Enjoy the afternoon visiting New England's Oldest and Largest Annual Quilt Festival. When the Festival closes for the day, check in to your hotel, The Hampton Inn. There will be time to relax and refresh before dinner. This evening enjoy dining in a casual atmosphere at a "local's" favorite restaurant. Return to the hotel after dinner. Day Two, Saturday, June 26 Savor a hearty breakfast in the hotel to fortify you for a full day at the Festival. You will discover hundreds of quilts, over 75 vendors, demonstrations, lectures, exhibits and the fabulous retail area tempting you with new products and ideas. Enjoy lunch on your own at the Festival. Return to your hotel after the show. Refresh with a swim in the indoor pool or just sit back and relax before departing for dinner. The Shanty Restaurant, located on the shores of Lake Champlain specializes in New England fare and hospitality galore. Day Three, Sunday, June 27 Following a farewell breakfast in the hotel prepare to check out of your room for the return trip to Maine. Don't despair; the fun is not over yet! Depart the hotel and travel a short distance into the historic Village of Shelburne to the Shelburne Museum. Discover treasures from America's past at the Shelburne Museum, described as one of the world's great museums of American folk art, artifacts and architecture. The Museum's founder, Electra Havemeyer Webb, was a pioneer collector of Americana and American folk art. Explore 37 exhibit buildings, stroll through 45 scenic acres, and discover 80,000 pieces of Americana including the most important collection of wildfowl decoys in the world, an outstanding collection of quilts, coverlets, and hooked rugs and over 200 horse drawn vehicles. See the 220-foot side-wheel steamboat, the Ticonderoga that is a National Historic Landmark. Have lunch on your own at the museum's concessions. At approximately 2:00 pm depart the museum for your return trip to Maine. With a rest/fast food dinner stop along the way, your return schedule is estimated below: 7:00 pm: Arrive Portland 8:00 pm: Arrive Augusta 9:30 pm: Arrive Bangor

Longarm Price List Charges for quilting are based on the square inches of your quilt top. Length x width = square inches.
LEVEL ONE QUILTING Overall stippling is the least expensive charge for quilting. This can include a meandering design, hearts/vines/flowers or stars. PRICED AT .02 CENTS/SQUARE INCH.
LEVEL TWO QUILTING This is an "edge to edge" pattern repeated over the entire quilt, or one block pattern done in each block. PRICED AT .025 CENTS/SQUARE INCH.
LEVEL THREE QUILTING Two designs, a pantograph in the main part of the quilt, with a separate but complimentary border; or any TWO patterns. PRICED AT .028 CENTS/ SQUARE INCH.
LEVEL FOUR QUILTING Considered custom quilting, is any combination of three or more patterns. Stitch-in-the-ditch and echoing also fall into this category, because of its timeliness/complexity. PRICED AT .03 & UP TO .04 CENTS/SQUARE INCH
Any design that is not already in our system is considered CUSTOM LEVEL FOUR QUILTING.

Batting is priced individually Batting is available for purchase, although you are welcome to send your own with the quilt top and backing.
Quilt Backings Are available for purchase, in wide width or 45in. A charge of $5.00/seam will be applied to your total bill.

Mail Order Quilts Shipping costs are paid by the customer, both ways. Remember the return shipping will be more, from added weight of the batting. We do track all of our orders at .65 cents/package, through the post office. Please let us know if you prefer a different shipping method.
